Hampton Roads, March 9th 1862. For the first time in history, two ironclad warships are going to clash : The Union’s Monitor and the Confederate’s Virginia. The battle will rage for hours and end in a stalemate. On this day, both ships became legendary. Here, these two icons have been recreated. Modeled to museum quality standards, using the latest available data, these ships are loaded with details. Each ship harbors dozens of movable parts, some of which use ERC technology for ease of use. Separate smart props complete the models, and allow multiple configurations. Don’t miss the chance to go back in time to the origins of modern warships.
