A collection of 4 historical helmet models in OBJ + PP2 and 3DS format. The Anglo Saxon helmet is based on the ceremonial helmet found in the burial mound at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk, England. It dates from around the 6th Century AD. The Viking helmet dates from around the same period as the Anglo Saxon helm. The Norman helmet was used in the Norman Conquests of England in 1066 AD by Duke William of Normandy’s army, when they defeated King Harold II at Hastings. The Crusade Helmet is based on a design used by King Richard the Lionhearts army in 1189 AD. Designed to compliment Merlin’s Medieval series of models and the Round Table of Camelot (also available on Renderosity, see Related Products below for more details), this pack contains a total of 4 unique, highly detailed medieval helmet models and 10 texture maps. All helmets have been set up for Poser 6 and up with each helmet parented to the head. The PP2 files have also been tested in Daz Studio. If you have any questions then please feel free to contact me and thanks for looking.
