Anyone had any problems with DTG Studios’ Bliss for G8F? It’s thrown up an error “volumes/di2/online store/dtg/blissg8/blissdoll.duf” which I fixed after goggling the code but it’s warped every G8 figure in my library.
Apparently the only fix is reinstalling every G8 morph manually. But I really don’t want to do that…

Cool, my friend. I think is a great idea create your own textures (I hope I can do it someday 😉 ), and if you already have some logos you can use to stamping your textures will be easier, I guess.

Heya, I must say lately I am a bit worried about ironman13 because for an awfully long time I haven’t seen any updates from him/her and I slowly getting afraid that something bad has happened to him/her in RL. I am just asking because I know that some of you here are DAZ are veterans and way longer in this all than me and probably know more.
I bought a couple of items from ironman3d over at DAZ that did not deliver as described in the product description and was never updated, so yeah, to say I am disappointed is an understatement. I COULD BE WRONG, but I think this PA is selling stuff under a different name, i3d_Lotus.

For me, his most prominent item was the i13 Executive Environment, Outfit and Pose Bundle.
They did a lot of clothing, pose and environment bundles on Daz, usually with the i13 tag at the start of the name. IMO it was usually good quality content but I never actually bought any of their stuff so I can’t speak about after sales support.

that is very true…another PA that has been MIA for quite a while is Raiya.
so I found out from DAZ Forums the following: ironman13 is a man/woman couple and 13d_Lotus is their daughter. Currently the woman half of ironman13 has taken some time off from content creation and the man half is working in collaboration with Fugazi, that is why Fugazi’s stuff are very similar to what ironman13 had rolled out once before.
His daughter could also explain why this one house that got removed almost immediately was so badly designed. Thanks a lot, I always love the insight.

1 EXHD houses only DAZ purchased items and the other one houses items from other stores, RDNA, renderosity, hivewired, freebie, etc. And then I have a separate EXHD that houses my installed DAZ contents and Poser runtime folder. Yeah…you would have to have some sort of organized method, or not, after all there is a “search” function.

Me, when creating customer character I’m doing it in zbrush or edit in autodesk maya/cinema4D, export them in obj and back to daz3d. Save them as preset character.

i have a stupid question. while in daz if you’re working on a pic and install a new set of files, is there a way to refresh to install the new files without saving or closing the program?
What a great question and the answer is YES, indeed! go to your “Content Library” tab and above it there is a small arrow with the drop down list icon, click that and choose “Content Directory Manager” and just click “Accept”. You should see some sort of movement of your folders indicative of “refreshment” of contents.

If everything was okay before you installed blissdoll.duf, have you tried uninstalling that first? I know it might mean that Bliss won’t work properly but it’s only one figure and you could always export her as an object, remove her morph files (leaving textures etc) and re-import that object as a morph. It’s worked for me before.

i had the same thing happen i removed the morph files from the library : content\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female\Morphs hope it helps.
this is the second time a figure from DTG broke my default genesis they also had a genesis 3 figure that did the same thing…. i am avoiding this content creator now.
